The Echoing Green is an indie electronic-rock, pop-synth band based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. What began with Joey Belville as a solo synth-pop project in the early 90’s (Defend Your Joy) has evolved into an internationally touring band that has released seven full-length studio records, three remix records, one best of and countless singles, EPs and compilations. In the studio, The Echoing Green is Joey Belville and Chrissy Jeter – long time friends who formed the core of the band in 1998.The EG live-in-concert adds Dave Adams, John Ball, and Wil Foster to the mix. During the 90’s and the height of the grunge phase, The Echoing Green made a name for itself within the electronica genre and gained a loyal following in the electronic-music niche. A pioneer in the digital music field, the EG continues to evolve in each album to incorporate new production techniques and sound palettes.
