D-Boy Rodriguez was a Christian rap artist. He released two albums, and a third one, which was released posthumously. He saw rap music as a vehicle to reach inner-city youth in Dallas, Texas, through the Street Church Academy. He was one of the first Christian rappers to make extensive use of sampling.
