Fono

Fono

FONO's debut album "goesaroundcomesaround" was recorded in London with Adi Winman (Supergrass, Jamiroquai). Originally signed to Reunion Records in the USA, the contract was purchased by KMG Records (Nashville, TN) and released in 1999. The album was A listed on XFM and a hit with Zane Lowe of MTV Europe. After extensive U.S. and European tours, Billboard ranked FONO as one of the Top 6 Independent Bands in the Southwest.

FONO is an act with brilliant modern melodic rock and well-produced powerpop. With a growing repertoire, songwriter, Del Currie, has features on MTV, ER, Extreme Sports DVD's, Warren Miller's "Cold Fusion," in Billboard's Heatseekers, and received numerous songwriting awards. FONO has opened for bands from Bon Jovi to Goo Goo Dolls, from Guano Apes to Third Eye Blind and Robert Plant. It lives up to its title of "Best Unsigned Band" in Kerrang! Magazine.
